Amy Seear is our principal psychologist and has been working  in Geraldton since 2005 in both forensic and clinical settings. Amy first started her career working with adults, mainly in the treatment of depression, anxiety and trauma. She have also been trained in the facilitation of CBT and EMDR therapy (for adults).


After recognising the need for more psychologists to work with children Amy expanded her skillset and practice to include children. She currently consults with children who are referred privately, via GP referral (Medicare), the Department of Communities (Child Protection) and the NDIS. She works with children with a range of issues including anxiety, anger, depression, trauma and behavioural issues. Amy also completes Autism and IQ assessments for children.


Amy is a qualified children’s yoga teacher and has developed workshops to help children use yoga to manage stress and anxiety. These workshop have been running in Geraldton since 2016 and use not only yoga-based movement, but also breath work, meditation and psychology-based strategies to support children in managing stress and anxiety. 

In 2021 Amy was accredited with the Quirky Kid to facilitate their award winning Best of Friends TM  social and emotional learning program, In 3 Minds Psychology Services is the only clinic in WA to offer this program!


Amy is also qualified to facilitate The Circle of Security Parenting™ program and professional development training for Borderline Personality Disorder and Trauma Informed care. 

Mental Health Social Worker Services

Angie Jefferys is an accredited Mental Health Social Worker and offers counselling for adults in the Midwest region. Angie offers both face-to-face and telehealth sessi0ns. 


Angie has an interest in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and has done extensive training in this area. She also enjoys working with a Schema Therapy modality and has undergone training in this area. Angie is trained to work with a range of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety and trauma. She also has a special interest in working with relationship problems, post natal depression and drug & alcohol issues.

Medicare rebates are also available for individuals with a GP referral and Mental Health Care Plan.

Therapy Assistant/Counsellor Services

Alison Owens is a counsellor and is part way through a Psychology degree. Alison also facilitates children's programs which are aimed at improving emotional regulation, reducing anxiety and developing children's social and emotional learning. These programs can be accessed privately or via NDIS funding and can be offered in-clinic or at schools within the Midwest region.

The Zones of Regulation program is a worldwide recognised program aimed to help children with emotional regulation.  This program follows a 10 session/hour format and can be facilitated in either a one-on-one or group session. 

The Best of Friends is an evidence based social skills program aimed at children between 7 & 11 to help them develop their social and emotional learning.

Our children's Yoga Workshops have been developed by Amy Seear (Psychologist & Children's Yoga Teacher). They run over 4 sessions and use a combination of yoga and psychology practices to help children manage stress & anxiety. We offer workshops to both children and teens.

The Take Action program is an evidence based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy based program designed specifically for children who need support managing their anxiety. This program requires parental involvement to help consolidate therapeutic learning.
